Welcome to The Wayfarer

Located in the historic Bayview area of South Whidbey Island , this 100+ year-old Wayfarer Farm features 5 acres of open, rolling grounds, with an old-growth orchard providing a natural canopy. We are so looking forward to dancing under the twinkle lights with you!

Getting There

Whidbey Island is located in Puget Sound just northwest of Seattle. It is accessible via ferry from the Seattle area or by driving from the north across Deception Pass (adding ~1 [scenic] hour to the drive time).

SeaTac Airport is located 40 miles from the ferry terminal. Travel time by car from the airport to the venue is usually 75-125 minutes, depending on the wait times for boarding the ferry.

NOTE: A construction project called Revive I-5 started in January and will continue throughout 2026. I-5 is the main highway for navigating the greater Seattle area. For those traveling before 7/10, expect no issues; the highway will be fully open for the World Cup. For those traveling 7/10 and later, there will be full closures, however, express lanes will remain open 24/7 and will bypass the closure areas. For this reason and many others, we recommend arriving on Whidbey Island by Friday.

Paine Field is a smaller airport located just 5 miles from the ferry terminal. Travel time by car from the airport to the venue is usually 30-60 minutes (depending on ferry traffic). This airport has direct and connecting routes from Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego and San Francisco.

The Mukilteo – Clinton Ferry runs every 30 minutes from 5am to 1am. You can drive or walk on for this short 15 minute ferry ride that takes you across the beautiful Puget Sound. If you are lucky you may get in some whale watching on your journey!

One you land the venue is a 15 minute drive (7 miles) in the town of Langley

If you’d prefer a beautiful drive through the Pacific Northwest, the island is also accessible from the north via Deception Pass

Using public transit is limited, but an option.

From Downtown Seattle - The Sounder is a train that runs Monday through Friday departing Seattle from 4pm to 5:40 PM during commuting hours, and drops you off right at the Ferry Station.
